It combines interactive practice with detailed analysis of grammar, fluency, writing, comprehension, and pronunciation down to individual phonemes providing feedback where applicable to help students communicate confidently and instructors target learning gaps.

It is designed for schools, institutions, organizations, independent instructors, and their students. Developer Accounts serve teams integrating Learngual's language tools into their own products.

Instructors create and assign language courses, activities, and assessments. Learngual evaluates students' responses through automated checks, AI analysis, or instructor grading. Feedback is provided where applicable, while progress reports highlight strengths and learning gaps to guide further practice and teaching.

Yes. Instructors can create level-based lessons and exercises for beginners through advanced students, matching the content to their students' language skills.

English, French, Spanish are available for language teaching and AI analysis of supported spoken and written activities.

Choose an Enterprise Account to manage instructors and students for an organization. Choose an Instructor Account (My Account) to teach your own students independently. Choose a Developer Account to integrate Learngual's APIs into another product. Invited instructors and students join through the invitation they receive.

Instructors can create interactive language courses and assessments, evaluate language skills using AI, and provide automated grading and feedback where applicable. Progress reports help them identify learning gaps and guide teaching.

Yes. Enterprise roles and permissions control access to course creation, publishing, grading, reports, invitations, announcements, and files. Owners and authorized administrators manage the organization's team and account settings.

An authorized team manager opens Manage teams, selects Add members, enters each person's email address, selects the role, and sends the invitation within the account's available capacity. Courses can be assigned after the person joins the Enterprise team.

Open the student invitation area in your Instructor Account, enter the student's email address, select the course, and send the invitation. Every invitation must include a course assignment. Instructor Accounts invite students only.

Open the invitation email and follow its link. Sign in or create a Learngual profile using the email address that received the invitation, then complete the joining process. Students joining an independent instructor's course also need an active Student Subscription.

Yes. Select the student from the Enterprise directory in the course's participant area and assign the additional course. The student keeps the same Enterprise membership.

Open the account switcher in the profile or account controls and select the account you want to use. Each account keeps its own courses, users, reports, settings, and subscription information.

Open My courses in the correct account and select an assigned course. Its published lessons, activities, and course tests are available within the course.

In your Instructor Account, or an Enterprise role with course-creation permission, open Courses and select Create course. Complete the required details, add your lessons, exercises, tests, and materials, then review and publish the course for assigned students.

Organize the course into lessons and add exercises, learning activities, course tests or quizzes, and lesson materials. You can arrange the lessons and activities to follow your teaching sequence.

Students can access an active, published course once they are assigned to it and its availability dates allow access. Their Enterprise membership and coverage, or their required Student Subscription for an independent instructor's course, must also be active.

Yes. Use File manager to upload and organize lesson files and media for courses and assessments. These materials include documents, images, audio, and video accepted by the uploader.

Open Announcements, create an announcement, select the intended students or courses, enter your update, and publish it. In an Enterprise Account, the sender needs permission to publish to the selected audience.

A course test evaluates learning within a course. A standalone assessment is created in the Assessment section and can be distributed separately from the course's lessons and tests.

From your Instructor Account or an authorized Enterprise role, open Assessment and create a custom assessment. Add sections and questions, assign points, and configure the settings. Save it as a draft, review it, and publish it when ready.

Yes. Clone a Learngual assessment template, adapt the new draft to your teaching goals, and publish your version. Changes to your copy leave the original template unchanged.

Yes. Set the duration and allowed number of attempts while preparing the assessment. Review these settings before publishing.

Yes. Assign points to questions and define named performance levels for score ranges. The question points contribute to the assessment's total score.

Clone or duplicate it, make the changes in the new draft, and publish the corrected version. Assign students to that version. Existing submissions and reports stay connected to the version students originally completed.

Yes. AI-enabled activities with automatic feedback release show feedback once a submitted response is processed. Instructor-reviewed activities show results after the review and grade release are complete.

AI feedback highlights strengths and areas for improvement in the skills tested. Grammar and writing feedback also explain errors and show corrections.

AI pronunciation analysis examines speech sounds, including individual phonemes, syllables, stress, and intonation. The feedback identifies specific pronunciation issues so students know what to practice.

Speech analysis evaluates how smoothly and naturally a student speaks, including rhythm and flow. This helps students understand how their delivery affects spoken communication.

Writing analysis evaluates clarity, grammar, sentence structure, vocabulary, organization, and relevance to the prompt. It also examines how clearly ideas connect and develop throughout the response.

Yes. Vocabulary and word-context analysis evaluate word choice, range, and suitability for the intended meaning. This helps students use words accurately and appropriately in speech and writing.

Yes. Language-logic analysis examines whether ideas are relevant, coherent, logically connected, and clearly organized. It evaluates meaning and the development of ideas alongside other language skills.

Reading-aloud activities evaluate accuracy, pronunciation, speech rate, and flow. Reading-comprehension activities evaluate how well students understand the text through their answers to questions about it.

It evaluates students' responses to listening activities, checking their understanding of main ideas, important details, context, and connections between ideas.

Yes. Students can translate words and sentences within supported feedback to help them understand corrections and explanations in a familiar language.

Yes. Instructors can create courses and assessments for IELTS, TOEFL, DELF, DALF, DELE and SIELE preparation, and organize learning around CEFR proficiency goals.

Use Reports to review results from courses, tests, and assessments. Use Analytics to follow progress, skill performance, participation, and engagement over time. These insights help identify learning gaps and guide future lessons.

Assessment reports organize performance by assessment, section, student, and question. They show results from completed grading and analysis, including scores and feedback for the skills assessed.

Yes. Students can review released grades, feedback, and progress information for their assigned work.

Choose a language in your profile's language setting or use the language switcher in the top bar. This changes the supported menus and system text; course materials remain in the language in which they were created.

Yes. An internet connection is required to access courses, assessments, AI tools, feedback, and reports.

You need a working microphone and permission for Learngual to use it in your browser or device. Enable microphone access before starting a speech-based activity.

Select Forgot password? on the sign-in page, enter the email associated with your Learngual profile, and submit the request. Open the latest reset email, create a new password, and return to the sign-in page.

Open Help from the top bar or email [email protected]. Include the affected page or activity, what you were trying to do, and the exact error message.

Provide your email address and organization or school name, select the description that matches your role, choose the language you're interested in, and explain how you plan to use Learngual. The organization or school name is required.

Yes. The same profile can include an Instructor Account for your own students and an instructor role in a school's Enterprise Account.

Open Settings and Account settings, update the editable profile fields or your profile image, and save your changes.

Open Settings, select Security settings, and use the Password controls to complete the required fields and save your new password.

Open Manage teams and Pending. Review the recipient's email address and role, then resend the invitation or withdraw it to cancel it before acceptance.

Check your spam, junk, and other filtered folders, and search for Learngual. Verify the email address with the person who invited you and ask them to resend the pending invitation. Use the newest email to join.

Yes. Combine supported question formats in the assessment's sections to evaluate different skills. For example, you can include a speaking task, a reading-comprehension question, and a written response.

Review the instructions, target language, question order, correct answers, grading settings, points, score ranges, duration, and attempt limit. Check that the audio and other materials work and that the intended students and result-release settings are correct.

Use the assessment's bulk invitation uploader with its provided template. Upload the completed spreadsheet, then review the results for successful invitations, existing members, duplicates, invalid entries, and capacity errors.

Learngual shows feedback where applicable, based on the skills assessed and the student's response. Each activity displays the feedback categories relevant to it.

Ask the instructor responsible for the activity to review your response and its grading criteria. The instructor or institution decides whether the academic result should change.

Yes. Enterprise owners and administrators with reporting permission can view organization-wide course and assessment reports. Enterprise instructors see the reporting information covered by their assigned permissions.

Check the selected account, assessment version, reporting period, and filters. Confirm that the student submitted the work, grading and analysis are complete, results have been released, and your role has permission to view them.

Open the file's information in File manager and review the content that uses it. Keep the file available while it is needed by a lesson, exercise, test, or assessment.

Open Trash in File manager, select the file, and choose Restore. The file returns to the active File manager. Restore it before emptying Trash, which permanently removes its contents.

Check the uploader's accepted file type and size, the account's available storage, your file-management permission, and your internet connection. Use the displayed error message to identify which requirement needs attention.

Open your Developer dashboard, create an API key, and follow the API documentation linked there to make a test request. The documentation provides the required request fields and response examples.

Yes. Scripted speech analysis evaluates a recording against the reference text you provide. Unscripted speech analysis transcribes and analyzes a spoken response without predetermined reference text.

Open the usage or reporting area in your Developer dashboard to review consumption for the billing cycle, compare it with your plan allowance, and monitor usage over time.

Use the temporary pause control for that key in the Developer dashboard. A paused key stops authorizing requests and can be reactivated when you are ready to use it again.
